Know the measures implemented by island

Municipality of Nordeste and Vila Franca do Campo (High Risk)
  1. Closure of all restaurants, beverages and similar establishments at 3 pm, with the limitation that, during the period of operation, the maximum capacity per table is four people, unless they belong to the same household, respecting a maximum capacity 1/3 of the capacity of the establishment concerned;
  2. From 15:00 hours until 22:00 hours, restaurants, beverages and similar establishments can only operate with home delivery and take-away service, with the exception of providing meals to guests of hotel or similar establishments for part of the respective catering services;
  3. Prohibition of pedestrian, automobile, motorized or similar circulation on public roads between 8:00 pm and 5:00 am the following day on weekdays and between 3:00 pm and 5:00 am the day after weekend, subject to the exceptions below;
  4. Without prejudice to paragraphs 3 and 4, closing of all commercial activity at 8:00 pm during the week and at 3:00 pm at the weekend, with the exception of pharmacies, medical clinics and offices, fuel filling stations for sale at the wicket, convenience stores selling essential goods integrated in gas stations, or not, establishments located inside the airports of the Region, in an area located after the screening and security control of passengers, who can work after those hours;
  5. Closure of gymnasiums and covered swimming pools, with sporting practices in these spaces being prohibited;
  6. Closure of casinos and gambling establishments;

Municipality of Ponta Delgada, Lagoa, Povoação and Ribeira Grande (Medium Risk)
  1. Limitation of gatherings on the public road of a maximum number of six people, unless they are from the same household;
  2. Limitation to a maximum of six people per table in restaurants and cafes, unless they belong to the same household;
  3. Closure of all beverage establishments and the like, with dance spaces;
  4. Closure of all restaurants, beverages and similar establishments at 8 pm, with or without a show and with or without terrace service, including spaces for holding events, except for take-away or home delivery purposes, as well as for supplies of meals to guests of hotel or similar establishments by the respective catering services;
  5. Prohibition of the sale of alcoholic beverages after 20:00 hours.
  6. Suspension of the holding of public events promoted by the regional administration, including public institutes and companies in the regional business sector, this recommendation being extended to all public entities, namely local authorities, as well as to private sector entities, urging the non-realization events open to the public;
  7. Suspension of opening to the public at sporting events and competitions.
