The OSPAR Convention

The OSPAR convention is a legal instrument that manages cooperation in the protection of the maritime environment of the Northeast Atlantic. In accordance with OSPAR, the Azores has 12 Locations included in the protection of the maritime environment of the Northeast Atlantic.
